Senior Engineer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.

Research, design, plan and perform engineering duties to prevent, control or remedy environmental hazards.
Oversee multi-disciplinary teams on projects to support, design and implement remedial actions for environmental hazards, including technology screening and selection, pilot testing, system installation, start-up, operation, monitoring and maintenance.
Prepare technical reports, permit applications, technical memoranda, environmental assessments, and compliance documents.
Perform, review, and provide quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of engineering calculations, detailed design drawings, and technical specifications.
Coordinate and conduct field investigations and related activities involving site inspections, environmental monitoring, and data collection including soil, groundwater, and soil gas sampling.
Identify appropriate resources and skill sets to achieve project and task order objectives.
Communicate directly with clients to provide updates on project and task status, present results of evaluations and data analysis, and participate in routine client meetings.
Mentor junior staff on engineering design, calculations, and development of technical specifications.

$148,429 per yearRequirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience, or must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following:
Preparing design drawings and design calculations for environmental remediation projects, including soil and groundwater treatment systems, in situ biological and chemical remediation, and ex situ treatment and disposal projects; Preparing proposals for environmental engineering projects, including work scopes and cost estimates for technical work; Communicating engineering concepts and engineering project updates to corporate clients; and Reviewing junior engineers' work products including reviewing preliminary design drawings, calculations, analysis, reviewing and editing technical writing, and providing field oversight.
Must have a US Professional Engineer license.
