Candidates will be verifying patient insurance eligibility, scheduling appointments, answering phones, assisting with insurance authorizations, and prepping charts and files.
Should be familar with medical insurances (HMO,PPO,Work Comp, etc.
) and medical terminology.
Medical assistant will be rooming patients, taking vital signs, performing in-office lab tests.
We will train.
Must be detailed oriented, strong organization skills, excellent computer skills, typing skills and is a team player.
Must work well with others as well as independently.
Must also be able to multi-task and willing to work flexible hours as needed.
