This Administrative position requires in person client contact, heavy phone usage, intense calendaring, general office duties, preparing and processing paperwork for over a thousand tax returns, and much more.
We are a paperless office utilizing digital filing and storage.
The candidate must be extremely detail oriented and must possess strong multi-tasking skills in hectic conditions.
This position is Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM, with a half hour lunch.
During our busiest time of the year, Feb.
1stthrough April 15th, the administrative assistant is required to be in the office Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM, with an hour lunch and Saturdays, 9AM-5PM, a half hour lunch is provided.
During this season, our office is extremely busy and we work up to 12 hours a day.
This position requires someone who can remain calm under pressure, while also being able to maintain a strong work ethic through these challenging times.
Strong communication skills through phones, emails, and in person Ability to maintain professional demeaner, even under pressure High level of confidentiality Strong knowledge of computer applications and software Ability to be constantly learning new skills, malleable and adaptable Consistent attendance and dependability are crucial Ability to work as a team while also able to work without supervision Prioritizing, multi-tasking and strong organization is essential to this position.
Heavy scheduling and management of multi staff calendars.
Experienced with target scanning and paperless environments a plus.
Must have a track record of good attendance and dependability.
Mandatory Saturdays during tax season and overtime as required.
Accounting/tax office background is a plus.
