Mullen & Filippi provides comprehensive legal services to California employers on issues arising from workplace injuries and other employment related concerns.
We are an established and reputable law firm with fifteen offices throughout the state.

Our office currently has a full-time opening for an outgoing, professional Office Assistant.
We work in a paperless environment, which uses minimal physical paper and instead uses primarily digital documents.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule and coordinate depositions, medical exams and other court designated hearings for attorneys.
Confirm appointments in writing.
Maintain diaries and follow-up on pending calendar items as necessary.
Look up, input or document information in a case management system.
Provide general administrative and clerical support to attorneys and staff including opening files, indexing files and providing back-up to the receptionist.
Requirements:
REQUIRED SKILLS Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Tech savvy with ability to learn the firm's case management software.
Confident, articulate and well-spoken with good writing skills Able to proofread and edit documents Strong organizational skills with the ability to identify urgency and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Ability to manage time and display problem solving skills.
Position requires sitting for up to 6 hours per day while keyboarding and physical activity including, but not limited to bending, stooping, walking, reaching, repetitive motions and lifting of up to 10 pounds.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
