A Day in the Life of a AVEVA Select California Jr.
Product Specialist Jr.
Product Specialists at AVEVA Select California are THE Automation Software Experts! They become the technical experts for an energetic and aggressive team of technical sales people.
Not only will you help architect world class automation and data solutions using AVEVA (previously Wonderware) software, but you will also stretch your knowledge and experience in networking, virtualization, security, servers/PCs, and IOT concepts.
What will be expected of you? You will:
Work closely with the sales team for presentations, technical discussions, and solving for customer needs.
Architect solutions using AVEVA (previously Wonderware)'s best in class Automation Software to meet the needs of a complex and varied customer mix; solving our customer's puzzles! Present at group events, workshops and hands on education seminars.
Customers will be looking to you to help identify their pains and develop technical solutions.
Experience and Skills:
What experience and background do you need to work at AVEVA Select California as a Product Specialist? Job Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in engineering with a background in automation, software, electronics, optics, or a related field A minimum of one (1) years sales or customer service experience in a technical field Proven verbal and written communication skills, solid business, technical, and application-solving aptitude, sales presentation skills This is a technical role that has a close relationship to the customer and AVEVA (previously Wonderware).
This role will also train you to become an expert in the industry and provide a pathway to a Sr.
Product Specialist.
Understanding the value of this software to the customer's business is critical.
The emphasis is on solutions that improve the customer's quality, efficiency, flexibility and more.
