Corporate Controller, Healthcare (Hybrid)

This position oversees and manages general accounting functions and staff including payroll, accounts payable, acquisition integration, auditing, and general accounting. The Controller works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and VP of Finance to ensure that the financial position and earnings of the Company are correctly stated, and proper controls are in place for collecting, organizing, and recording the financial data.
Key
Responsibilities:
Manages accounting records and is responsible for the production of financial reports.
Responsible for ensuring that financial reports are issued on time, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and that they fairly and accurately reflect the Company's current financial position.
Oversees employees involved in the various accounting processes including accounts payable and payroll.
Assists with the preparation of Company budgets and forecasts and identifying expense trends that are not in line with projected revenue.
Ensures that the company makes accounts payable payments on time and that debt is serviced properly.
Coordinates the financial statement audits and ensure that the auditors have all the information they need to render an accurate judgment of the company's financial statements.
Remains apprised of all the local, state and federal tax laws and business regulations that affect their company and must ensure that the company operates within the proper parameters. Assist the Company's tax preparer with tax compliance activities including the filing of federal, state, and other jurisdictional tax returns as well as the shareholder K-1s.
Prepares monthly revenue recognition entries and cash waterfall analysis reports.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in related field is required and Master's degree is preferred.
Current Certified Public Accountant license is strongly preferred.
Requirements:
At least ten plus years of relevant experience.
Experience in the healthcare industry required.
Experience in PE and M&A experience
Multi-location, multi-state experience is required.
Experience with public accounting including auditing, acquisition, and consolidation accounting.
Must reside in Northern California and willing to travel to Walnut Creek a couple of times a week
Compensation Range:
$175,000.00 to $230,000.00 Annually
All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations.
