Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises (OTIE) is a growing civil, environmental engineering and construction services firm with offices nationwide. We provide consulting engineering services to US Department of Defense (DOD), US Department of Energy (DOE), and US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). We have a new position open in our San Francisco Bay Area office for a part-time (20 hours/week) Administrative Assistant.
Job Description:
Provide administrative support inclusive of word processing; document production;
Forms, spreadsheets, memos, manuals and reports preparation (non-technical);
Proof reading and other administrative tasks.
Personal flexibility a plus because there are occasional strict project deadlines requiring long hours andevening work.
Requirements:
A.S. degree or higher preferred. Professional/technical certifications and/or additional training are pluses.
Previous experience in engineering office. Experience with DOD (Navy, US Army Corp of Engineers, Air Force, National Guard) is a plus.
Self-starting and detail oriented.
Must be capable of precisely following written and verbal instruction.
Advanced working knowledge of MS Word and Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional.
Basic practical knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, Power Point, and internet browsers.
Excellent spelling and written grammar.
Typing capability of 60 wpm.
Previous experience in document production/document assembly for complex reporting documents. Large quantities of hard copies and CDs are required for shipping, often by overnight service, to multiple recipients.
Some experience with electronic and hard copy file storage and archiving.
Punctuality and ability to complete assignments with little oversight.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
