Technical Writer
Position: Technical Analyst- Technical Writer
Location: Sacramento, CA
Terms: Contract to hire, M-F 8am-5pm
Compensation: Competitive, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation
Study product samples and talk with product designers and developers
Organize and write supporting documents for procedures
process, mapping and documentation
able to make recommendations on certain templates
Must be able to understand complex information and communicate the information to people with diverse professional backgrounds. Provide samples of regulation procedure documentation.
Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation
Write operating procedures to meet quality standards.
Understand current methods and proposed methods of job accomplishment
Organize and write supporting documents for procedures
Revise documents as new issues arise
Analyze processes and define procedure templates where possible; teach others in process analysis and procedure documentation techniques where appropriate.
Ensure that reports on status are accurate and that service records are maintained.
Ensure documentation is stored in client systems where directed.
Review procedures for compliance with statute and regulation and make recommendations for appropriate changes.
Experience:
5 years minimum in delivering business technical writing
Healthcare experience
Expert using all Microsoft Suite
Visio
Education:
Bachelor of Arts or Sciences in a Related DisciplineEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
