HR Assistant

The Human Resources (HR) Assistant supports the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR Assistant will focus on training and development administration, coordination and logistics, and other as needed HR activities.
Typical Duties:
Undertakes all learning and development administration relating to events, activities and ensures that course information is sent to staff on time
Collaborates with Service Line leaders on developing and planning trainings
Prepares, publishes and circulates learning and development course programs
Ensures employees have appropriate access to training and development events
Administers learning application (i.e., Micron CE) program for entire firm
Develops and coordinates employee new hire orientation and record keeping
Assists with HR projects and administration
Assists with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department
The HR Assistant contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior organization. The HR A helps with the implementation of policies and programs through HR staff; reports to the HR Senior HR Generalist, and assists firm managers with HR issues.
MINIMUM Qualifications:
1-3 years in and administrative role supporting a team
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Training and development planning and implementation
Experience of analyzing information and presenting reports
Proficiency in MS office applications
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
