We have a full-time opening for an experienced Administrative Assistant at our Walnut Creek Office. In this position you will provide exceptional administrative support services in a fast paced office.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Writing and editing procedures and other documents in accordance to Sargent & Lundy's and/or client requirements.
Serving as the focal point for administrative and documentation activities.
Being responsible for meeting schedules, scope, and budget requirements of assigned projects.
Gathering information and generating reports.
Independently planning and executing work based on the required end result.
Preparing documents and drawings for transmittal and document storage. This could include, drafting correspondence, data entry, copying and distribution, document tracking, and electronic filing.
Managing changing assignments and priorities to ensure that deadlines are met while maintaining a high quality product.
Manage administration of a regional office, including office supplies, facilities management, computer service needs, arrangements for new hires and visitors, meeting arrangements, and communication with headquarters office.

Qualifications
Essential Skills and
Experience:
Candidate should be a high school graduate (or equivalent) and have three or more years of administrative experience.
Experience should also include working in a production environment, meeting established production and accuracy goals, with the ability to maintain focus on quality of details while performing repetitive functions.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills (including writing and editing skills), keyboarding skills (50
wpm), and proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Candidate needs to be flexible, a team player, a self-starter and be open to occasional overtime.
Some college level education in English, writing or journalism is a plus.
Engineering and/or power industry background is also a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
