Responsibilities:
Utilizing SQL, analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools REQUIREMENTS:
Intermediate to Expert level SQL required, with demonstrated ability to write efficient data processing code Additional scripting language e.
g.
Python or R would be a strong plus Professional experience in fraud prevention or payment processing preferred but not required Ability to create dashboards and visualization in software (e.
g.
Looker, Tableau, Google Visualization or Spark) preferred Desire to solve complex problems in an evolving customer platform 3-5 years' experience performing business analytics and/or business intelligence required Requires a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree (preferred) in computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, finance or physics.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
