Network Security Engineer

Summary:
The Delivery Engineer provides technical expertise primarily in the Design and Implement phases of project lifecycle methodology.
In the Design phase the Delivery Engineer supports duties alongside the Delivery Architect.
The Delivery Engineer primarily delivers professional services in the Implement phase of projects.
The Delivery Engineer also may assist in delivering Support Services in the Operate phase or technology enhancements in the Optimize phase.
The Delivery Engineer is a deeply technical role in their specific discipline area(s) of expertise (Storage, Networking, Security, Virtualization, etc.
) What You'll Do:
Strong working knowledge of Networking and Network Security Strong work experience with online productivity tools Supports in-depth team communication within Discipline Supports interaction and establishes trust with customers Familiarity with testing, interoperability testing, and troubleshooting in dynamic lab environments desirable Experience creating detailed test plans Assist with infrastructure upgrades and work with vendors Strong layer 1 experience including knowledge of transceivers, fiber and copper cabling with attention to detail and pride in work Experience with Ixia a plus Qualifications & Interests:
ForeScout Admin or ForeScout Engineer experience desired ForeScout Policy and administration experience desired 3
years Cisco networking experience with focus on network security A minimum of 4 years working experience with providing engineering services for mid-market or higher organizations in fixed fee project type engagements Prior experience working as an IT Consultant performing similar type duties Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to adapt and understand new technologies quickly Ability to work both individually and as part of a team Sysadmin-level VMware, Linux and Windows experience a plus Experience with Linux/Unix Operating Systems a plus EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / CERTIFICATIONS 5-7 years hands on experience with networking ForeScout Certified Admin or ForeScout Certified Engineer certification highly desirable 2
years hands on experience with ForeScout Policy and administration highly desirable 3
years Cisco or Juniper networking experience Associates Degree or higher preferred (or equivalent level of education/work experience) EXPERIENCE Individual will have at least 5-7
years of related IT experience in large, complex organizations.
Previous experience in network services within the health care industry desirable.
